My grandmother died. She left me something that has been in the family, but what does one do with a hair loom?

Posted on July 28th, 2009 by admin

Am I supposed to weave yarn from hair and knit sweaters out of it? I am really wigged out about it. I have been scratching my heard over it. I am afraid of trouble looming ahead if I don’t accept it.

You know, hair shirts were once the rage for penitent sinners, perhaps you could sell the hair loom to a convent or monastery. You may be stranded with this monstrosity permanently. You could get back to your roots and learn how to use it. Take good care of it, don’t let it get warped or banged up. Hopefully, some will one buy it for a good price, and you can wave it good-bye as it shuttles away. Wouldn’t that curl your toes? Woof! Woof!!

How do you sterilize a sewing needle?

Posted on July 28th, 2009 by admin

I wanna pierce my belly button by myslef so I need to sterilize a sewing needle to make it free from bacteria so that my belly button won’t get infected.

Place the sewing needle you’ll be using nearby.
Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water to make conditions as sterile as possible. Also wash the piercing site.
Sterilize the sewing needle you will use by either dropping them in boiling water for ten minutes or heating them over the flame of a match or lighter. (Wipe off any black carbon deposits with a sterile gauze pad.)

1st prisoner released from "GITMO," a liar ?

Posted on July 28th, 2009 by admin

Binyam Mohamed states in a Rueters news release, upon release, accused the "U.S. Government of inflicting "Medieval" torture on him."

But in the report never once stated what "Torture" methods were used on him.

Did the "Torture" include ripping out his fingernails, driving bamboo splinters under his fingernails, burning his eyeballs with hot needles, forcing him to eat Pork, forcing him to witness beheadings ?

What does he consider Medieval torture ?
Don’t know if Army has admitted it or not. My question is, what did he consider Medieval torture ?

I, too, do not condone physical torture, although I consider mind games as a means of obtaining information as O.K.

Oh right. If the army doesn’t admit to torturing him then they must not have.

I don’t condone terrorism and he was locked up because he needed to be, but don’t be so foolish as to believe that they aren’t torturing those people just because they don’t have it documented in their paperwork.
