Cascade II Gramophone by W. J. Bond & Sons of London . Played with a Meltrope 2 soundbox and bamboo needle. The horn diameter is 2 ft, length 3ft.

Not many. A rare …
Not many. A rare item. There was a Cascade III which had a 7ft horn. I’m told it toppled over easily. The horn on the side means it’s a streight horn. Very few bends from the reproducer to the horn therefore an almost perfect acoustic reproduction.

Amazing gramophone …
Amazing gramophone as it looks odd with the horn coming out of the side. Did they sell many ?
