Just get a peice of …
Just get a peice of thin thread, whatever colour depending on the glove colours (or if you only have 2 colours, white for light gloves and black for dark ones, but just choose a colour not easily seen) and then thread a needle. Simply sew the sides back together (with thread) and they should be fine! If you really don’t want anyone to see the thread, turn them inside out before doing this

yes, and casting …
yes, and casting off in rib stitch means that when yore putting the 2 stctches on the needle, you do it in normal knit, then you cast it off by pulling the first stitch over the second one “if you didnt know that” and then you do one in purl and pull the stitch over, and purl agian, than go back to knit. so its knit knit purl purl just pulling the stitch over the other one every time
