For those of us that are too clumsy or not corrodinated enough to use dpn;s this method is a god’s send…thank you for sharing.

    Thanks for this :)
Thanks for this :) Tons of people love this method and I’ve seen it mentioned so many times, but didn’t know until now what it was exactly. Turns out I’ve used it without knowing it, but only sometimes if I didn’t have the right size dpn’s available at the time. I find it very slow going as you have to keep moving the cable around…

How fast can You knit this way? I would be interested to know, so I would know if it’s something worth learning properly.

80 divided by 2 is 40, so co 80 stitches then follow her instructions keeping 40 stitches on each needle.

This is a dream come true! Double pointed needles seems difficult to use (I admit I am scared of those things). This seems much simpler and I can’t wait to try this. I just happened to stumble upon this one. I love your videos. You explain things very clearly. Thank you so much!!!! :)

Yes knitwitch I actually love circular needles rather than straight because I always carry work whether crochet or knit wherever I go. circulars are small and I put point covers on the ends and off I go and again I really appreciate your WAY of demonstration. I’d much rather see a huge shot of the knit stitch you’re teaching than seeing all of you. I’m extremely sure you are an attractive queen but I wanna knit right?

    Thank you you’re great

Wow, I had heard of the magic loop but just didn’t feel I wanted to learn something new..I like my DPN…but with four children, I am tired of dropping my extra needle and having it roll under the chairs in the waiting room of the doctor, dentist, or in the car seats while picking kids up from school. I getting ready to start a round project with 80 stitches…I’m not really sure how to “split” that up with the magic loop method but I’ll just get started…that’s always the best way to learn!

I just watched your majic loop knitting and I loved it. I do knit small diameter knitting with dpns and I like that but it was fun doing the majic loop technique.

    I have the …
I have the knitpicks options set and I have to admit, I haven’t been using them much at all. I feel right at home with dpns. I bought size 8 dpns for the first time a month ago and I’ve been trying any pattern I like that calls for them. Right now I’m working on the Sweater Bag and it calls for a 29″ circular. The 32″ is way too long for it. I think I might switch to my 60″ and try the magic loop. Thank you for the video. Are you on Ravelry?
