How to sew on a Button — Basic Sewing Skills
Posted on July 15th, 2009 by admin
How many times have we experienced getting ready for a meeting or an appointment (or other important event) and had a strategically placed button pop off? Being able to sew buttons on is a simple skill that everyone probably should know how to do. In this video, I’ll teach you how!
To replace a button, you’ll need a new button (or if you were able to salvage the old one, use that), thread, a sewing needle, a pair of scissors, and (optionally) Fray Check. Watch and learn!

Sewed a button back …
Sewed a button back on to a pair of khakis. Unfortunately the button originally came off because the fabric itself wore out rather than the thread breaking so I had to kinda move away from the original spot. Not factory fresh, but if it stays on I’ll call that a successful first attempt, thanks!
