okay so i have a bely ring but i dont have aneedle …will it work if i use a sewing needle or a safety pin? please dont leave any comments telling me not to do this

Well technically yeah…if you stick a safety pin or a needle through your skin it’s going to leave a hole…it’s just far more prone to infection, improper placement, and a whole mess of other unwanted results. But I suppose if all risk is irrelevant to you and you’d rather pierce it yourself than go to a professional, then yes, a sewing needle will still pierce you. Good luck, please don’t get tetanus.

You’ll put a hole in your body yes. But the hole wont accomodate your jewelry (I promise you this!) and the type of jewelry you have most likely isnt the one that it needs to be initially pierced with so you will get infected and reject the jewelry. Quite honestly, you’re an idiot to do it yourself. Go to a piercing shop and have it done the right way or wait. Nothing is worth ending up in the hospital over.

Getting it done professionally would be better, less risk for complications such as infections, wrong position, not fitting the jewelry etc. Having it go wrong can leave you with a quite ugly mark thats gonna be there for a potentially long time.

alright its not too smart of an idea; but more power to ya to do it. your more vulnerable to getting a serious infection and hitting a critical vein while doing it. thats why you should go to a professional because they know all about the place ment

A safety pin is going to be way to small to make a hole big enough to properly accommodate your belly bar… You do know that navel piercings take three months to heal and are very painful if you don’t take care of them right, right? If you absolutely have to… use a sewing needle but please, disinfect and sterilize it first. I still recommend a professional do it for you. Mine only costed $25.

it will never work, the sewing needle and the safety pin is probably a 20 guage or smaller and the belly ring it usually a 14 guage or bigger, it will never fit.
