Part 1 – Card Weaving – Warping your mini loom

How to warp a mini loom. Sorry it’s still photos this came out so much better than a motion video. Part 1 shows you how to warp the loom only. Weaving and designs will be in the next videos.

Warping is the most important part of weaving. A poor warp makes a poor weave. The weave itself is mindless and easy but getting to that point is the hardest part. It takes most folks 3-4 times before the get a good warp without any mistakes.

Continental Method aka German Method sometimes called Left Handed Knitting
Officially, anyone who holds the yarn in their left hand is a Continental knitter. Some continental knitters wrap the yarn between the needles to knit it, and some simply scoop, or “pick”, the yarn with the needle. The latter requires fewer hand movements, and has a reputation of being the fastest method of knitting there is. This is my preferred knitting method.
